Born in Milan in 2001, GIADA occupies a particular space within Italian luxury. The house builds its language through restraint, privileging pure lines, exacting materials, and a palette distilled to black, white, and soft neutrals. Its ethos, described as “Art to Art,” reflects a long-standing conversation with Italian culture and the visual arts, a dialogue that has shaped the brand since its inception. The Renaissance, with its humanist ideals, looms large in GIADA’s imagination, informing both the serenity and quiet force of the GIADA woman, symbolized by the brand’s symbol of the Flower among the Rocks.

Fall/Winter 2025
For Fall Winter 2025, Gabriele Colangelo draws on the quiet symbolism of the iris, reading the flower’s role in Botticelli’s Primavera as a study in transformation. The collection considers how something as fragile as a petal can suggest resilience, and how that duality might translate into clothes that balance strength with delicacy.
Silhouettes wrap the body in light, fluid fabrics cut with controlled asymmetry, creating a sense of movement that feels both elongated and sensual. Coats and shirts take on fuller volumes, while dresses skim the figure and open onto flashes of skin through transparent organza or off-center lines. The effect is subtle rather than declarative, a measured play of softness against structure.
Craft techniques deepen the collection’s narrative. Flock printing traces velvet-like textures across sheer organza, catching the fleeting quality of an iris in bloom. Copper-thread beading forms three-dimensional petals and leaves that arc around the body, adding sculptural tension. Embroidered leather pieces continue the exploration of translucency and precision. Satin bindings outline garments with a fine, graphic clarity.

Color moves from GIADA’s signature black and white into blush tones and a single note of iris yellow that brightens the palette. Textures shift in similarly gradual ways, with mohair and degradé silk organza blending into surfaces that feel almost weightless. Throughout, elongated silhouettes and softened tailoring create a quiet, poetic register.
Accessories echo this idea of metamorphosis. Pearls in black and lime shades are set within metal forms that resemble petals. Bags, including the Luna shape and new rectangular styles, feature wax-edged finishes that mirror the clothing’s bindings. Transparent boots with netted panels and sculptural heels add a sharper, modern counterpoint.
Presented at the Biblioteca Braidense of the Pinacoteca di Brera, the collection extends GIADA’s ongoing dialogue between classical culture and contemporary craft. It offers a focused meditation on beauty, movement, and the small transformations that define the house’s approach. X
